How do students “Do Make and Create” in a culturally, soci-economically and academically diverse classroom? Come join a second grade teacher, technology integration specialist and students from the Sustainability Academy at Lawrence Barnes to find out how students are empowered to use technology to share their ideas and further their academic growth. Topics include using social media to communicate with families, differentiating instruction for diverse learners and community projects that fulfill the big ideas of sustainability.

Amy has been an elementary Technology Integration Specialist for eleven years. Amy was formerly a grades 5-6 multi-age teacher. She has a Masters in Education from St. Michael’s College and a BA from Middlebury College. She is a Highly Qualified Google Educator. Amy has presented at the Vermont Fest and Dynamic Landscape conferences in Vermont and the iPad Summit in Boston.
