Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Daunted by the prospect of connecting with schools in other countries? Newbies to global learning will share their process and experiences with Google Hangout, Google Communities, and Twitter. The first half of the presentation focuses on a Grade 5-6 collaborative project with students in Mexico and France to study food/water and economic issues. In the second half, learn how Grade 1-2 students shared monarch butterfly facts with Mexico City students and questioned experts through Twitter to make simple web fliers using Smores.
