3D Knees

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What keeps us running? As part of a study of human anatomy, students at Main Street Middle School learn about the interplay between muscles, bones, and nerves in knees. They meet an Osteopath and a Physical Therapist, who explain what can go wrong, and perform virtual knee surgery. Then they play doctor, designing and explaining a biophysically appropriate 3D-printed model of a knee joint in a simulated consultation with a patient.
