Mine 2 Learn: Advanced Minecraft

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

So you've gotten your feet wet with Minecraft and MinecraftEdu, and you're ready to dig deeper. In this workshop we’ll explore plugins which vastly expand the educational possibilities of Minecraft: PrintCraft, which enables students to design and build 3D-printed creations; ComputerCraft, a tool for introducing students to programming; and CustomNPCs, which provides teacher-friendly tools to help you build customized lesson worlds. We’ll also check out the extensive collection of worlds freely available from the MinecraftEdu community. Participants will need to have a Mojang account (register for free if you don't already have one), a laptop, and a mouse (trackpad not recommended). If you're not sure whether your laptop can run MinecraftEdu, please check the minimum system requirements or try the demo.
