Radical Remixing with Creative Commons

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Remixing combines the creations of others with the power of ones imagination to design derivative works. Sixth graders at Browns River Middle School practiced digital citizenship by remixing Creative Commons licensed images with their own photographs to make augmented reality fantasy photos. In this session, you’ll see examples of student work, learn how to quickly find—and properly attribute—Creative Commons images, and explore ways that remixing may be used to increase student voice, empowerment, and creativity.
