Faraday Fridays -- 10 Minute STEM!

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Can't find time for STEM/Maker activities in your over-crowded curriculum? At CBMS we were able to use a few minutes of Advisory Group (Home Room) time each month in order to give all students (and staff) great STEM experience with classic experiments of Michael Faraday. Electrify your MAKER SPIRIT! Come to this session for hands-on experience building super simple motors, electromagnets, galvanometers, telegraphs, and solenoids -- all with the simplest of materials. Learn how Faraday made our modern world and how you might progress to Tesla Tuesdays in the future! You'll also get directions and some tips on writing successful grant applications to purchase batteries and other materials.
