Inquire, Reflect, & Connect: Using Primary Sources to Promote Inquiry Thinking in the Elementary and Middle School Classroom

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Primary sources are concrete & engaging ways to connect students to the past and to promote inquiry. Using visual images, documents, audio and video as tools for teaching engages multiple learning styles and asks students to create their own understanding and interpretation. The Library of Congress houses a primary sources digital collection. This workshop demonstrates how to use these resources with students and introduces participants to the Teaching with Primary Sources website.
